Xu Yi (許儀, ? – 263) was a military general of Wei during the Three Kingdoms period of China.
Life
After his father Xu Chu died, he succeeded Xu Chu as Marquis of Muxiang.1
In the 3rd year of Jingyuan (263), as a Commandant-General, he followed Zhong Hui in the campaign against Shu. Under Zhong Hui's orders, he was assigned the task of advancing ahead to clear the road, but there was a hole in a bridge, and the hind leg of Zhong Hui's horse fell into it. Because of this, he was executed by beheading by Zhong Hui. Seeing that the son of Xu Chu, who had achieved merit for the royal house, was not forgiven, all the generals trembled in fear.2
Immediately after his death, the successor to his title was not determined right away; at the beginning of Taishi (265–274), when Western Jin was established, his son Xu Zong inherited the title.1
