Han Chi-yun (韓致奫, 1765 ~ 1814) was a Silhak scholar of the late Joseon period who briefly served as the magistrate (太守) of Yangcheon County, Gyeonggi Province, Joseon. His family seat was Cheongju, his courtesy name was Daeyeon (大淵)1, and his pen name was Okyudang (玉蕤堂).
In 1789 (13th year of King Jeongjo), he passed the jinsa examination but gave up on seeking office and devoted himself to scholarship. Already famous for his literary talent in his youth, he accompanied his cousin Han Chi-eung (韓致應), who was traveling as an envoy to the Qing dynasty, and returned having learned the методы of practical scholarship (實事求是) related to evidential learning. While writing the Haedong Yeoksa (《海東釋史》), he died before completing the "Geography" section (〈地理考〉). Later, his nephew Han Jin-seo added seven volumes to complete it.
